My heart goes out to her family. She was a wonderful Mother, Aunt, Sister and friend. Those that knew her were blessed. I will always remember her laugh. She had the most beautiful garden I’ve ever seen! Tended with loving care. I have the privilege of being one of her nieces (Irene’s daughter), and we would always go to her place when we visited. She had an “Open-door” policy for everyone who came to see her, offering food & coffee as soon as you walked in and received a big hug from her. I will miss her, but she will live on in our hearts.
