When I was a young mom Mary always welcomed myself and my children out to her home to enjoy Wednesday tea with all of the elderly neighbor ladies, which included my Gramma. She offered me crocheted slippers to warm my feet, hot tea (and the best homemade buns) to warm my tummy, and lots of laughs followed by a big hug to warm my heart. One by one the tea ladies have passed on, but my children and I will always cherish the memories of tea at Mary's.
And so with that I'd like to say, thank you Mary for opening your heart and your home to us. Thank you for the precious conversations around your table. Thank you for being a dear friend to my Gramma in her later years, and for the many prayers that I know you offered up for us...the love of Jesus shone through you brightly. God bless you my lovely friend!
Until we meet again....for tea :) xoxo
