My “Uncle Don was my second Dad. He and my Aunt Doreen farmed in Whitemud Creek for much of my youth. I was mesmerized, and giddy as I waited to hear “Uncle Don’ ask me up to the farm next holiday. He had such meandering spirit, I never once saw him rush .He loved my Aunt’s cooking, especially her pie! The world needs more men like my Uncle Don!
