After a short illness Don passed away at the QE II Hospital on Friday, June 20th 2014. Don was born on May 12th, 1927 in Oyen, Alberta and was a longtime resident of the Grande Prairie area. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 62 years Doreen and his 6 children Dennis, Dale, Douglas, Diana, Donna and David plus many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Don will be remembered for his love of family, farming, snowmobiling, quading and fishing. He lived for the days when he could go snowmobiling in the mountains with David, crab and salmon fishing on the west coast with Donna & Jeff and their children.
