I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Marlene. We were such great friends in the 70s and 80s, and it is through the passing of time and life circumstances that we had lost touch. I last saw her as she was retiring from Home Hdwe, for a brief time.
I had no idea she was ill, or I would definitely have tried to see her. In my "Best Friendships of Life" Book she held a mighty long space. I had so much good to say about her. We had many long chats about life and families over coffee
and cigarettes..........I send my condolences to her boys, their families and to all siblings. God bless you all, and I wish you much peace and love in this time.
